Our first step was to conduct a comprehensive company business analysis and a scan of the business internally and externally. The analysis revealed Internal Enablers and Challenges, including lack/absence of strategic action plan and clear marketing strategy, inadequate customer info and market data, organisation structure and workforce quality, poor internal communication and staff engagement culture, inadequate enterprise resource system, inconsistent approach to strategic planning and budgeting, poor enterprise performance management practices, and insufficient oversight of inventory.
Atunda worked with the client over a period of approximately six months to rectify these issues. We facilitated a strategy workshop to re-align its strategies, developed 5-year medium term action plan to guide the Company into a bright future, developed a monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure effective performance and well as a 5-year operational plan to aid budgeting and implementation.
The results of the engagement included the right organisation structure and people to grow the company, improved processes, and development of policy manuals, focused offerings on high profit projects, focus on customer offerings as well as the development of a high-level marketing plan, which combined online and offline marketing channel mix.
